We're dedicated to providing more than just the physical and mental benefits of boxing at Annapolis Boxing. Our gym offers the authentic atmosphere of a Brazilian boxing gym, complete with certified USA Boxing coaches.

Our program is influenced by the teaching methods of Brazilian coaches Mateus Alves and Luiz Dorea. We focus on sportsmanship, discipline, fitness, and proper techniques, incorporating a variety of boxing-specific exercises such as footwork, bag work, mitt work, shadow boxing, partner exercises, and controlled sparring.

Master Dorea, renowned for his innovative techniques, has trained numerous MMA champions, including Anderson “Spider” Silva, Junior “Cigano” dos Santos, and the Nogueira brothers Rodrigo “Minotauro” and Rogério “Minotouro”. He also led the Brazilian Olympic team for 8 years, coaching athletes like Hebert Conceição and Robson Conceição to gold medals, and trained pro boxing champions like the legendary Acelino "Popo" Freitas.

In addition to our focus on technique, Annapolis Boxing is fully equipped for boxing, featuring an 18'x18' competition-style ring and a diverse array of equipment.
